Restorative Appointments - Dental Fillings

Dental fillings are used when decay is present on any of the tooth surfaces. Your dental filling appointment will include a local anaesthetic, or “freezing” so that your dentist can remove decay and create a space in the tooth for the restorative material, or filling. Your appointment time will vary depending on the number of fillings needed, and the severity of the decay.
