Child’s First Visit

The first dental visit is quick and straightforward by design. We will greet your child, count your baby’s teeth, and examine the gums.

Parents are encouraged to stay with their little ones, and the dentist will talk with you about your child’s oral hygiene habits, teething, and when to schedule your next appointment.

Always speak positively about going to the dentist. Don’t transfer your fears or anxieties about dental care to your children.

Let your child know that the dentist will look after their teeth just like a physician looks after the rest of their body. Tell your child that the dentist will count their teeth and polish them to make them shiny and clean.

Encourage them that “big kids” go to the dentist. Most children are eager to impress you with the next step in their maturity or independence. Sometimes it is helpful for the young child to be present for an older sibling’s, or a parent’s, check-up so that they understand the procedure and know what to expect when it is their turn.

The Clear Alternative!

Invisalign is a minimally visible method for moving teeth without band, wire, or brackets. This is a clear alternative to braces for patients who do not want to wear braces.

Can Dental Implants Work For You?

Dental implant surgery involves substituting tooth roots with metal, screw-like posts and replacing damaged or absent teeth with artificial teeth that closely resemble and function like natural ones.
